I love how the brushed brass arm catches the light even when the lamp is off—it adds a subtle elegance to the hallway. The light itself is soft and evenly diffused, perfect for reading in the corner.

The opal glass gives off such a warm, diffused light that it completely transforms the hallway. I was worried the brushed brass might look too shiny, but it's actually quite understated and elegant. Installation was straightforward too, which was a nice bonus.

The brushed brass arm has a nice, solid weight to it, and the way it catches the light makes the whole fixture feel warmer than photos suggest. Mounting took me about ten minutes, and the opal shade sits perfectly flush against the wall.
