The thin black metal plate feels sturdy and modern against the wall, and the opal glass spreads light evenly without any harsh glare.

The opal glass shade gives off such a soft, warm glow that it completely transforms the hallway at night. Mounting it took me barely ten minutes thanks to the slim metal plate, and the black powder coating looks far more premium than the price suggests.

I was a bit worried the black metal plate would look too industrial, but the matte powder coating is really elegant against the warm glow of the opal glass. It throws just the right amount of light for our hallway, and the thin profile means it barely takes up any wall space.
