Learn how to size and fit the Miira 13 chandelier in rock grey for your room. Includes ceiling height rules and spacing advice.
Quick answer
The Miira 13 chandelier in rock grey suits rooms with ceilings at least 2.7 m high and a table or seating area at least 2.5 m wide. For lower ceilings or tighter spaces, consider the Miira 1 pendant or the Apiales 18 chandelier instead.
Why ceiling height matters
The Miira 13 chandelier has 13 individual pendants hanging from a round ceiling plate. Each pendant can be adjusted in height, but the overall silhouette needs vertical clearance to avoid a cramped look. A minimum ceiling height of 2.7 m gives the chandelier room to spread without touching heads or furniture.
Room width and table size
This chandelier has a light, slender silhouette with opal glass globes of 14 cm diameter each. When arranged in a cluster, the spread can reach about 1.2–1.5 m across. A dining table or seating area at least 2.5 m wide ensures the chandelier doesn't overwhelm the space or block sightlines.
Decision rules for Miira 13 ceiling fit
- Measure ceiling height: Ensure the ceiling is at least 2.7 m high. For lower ceilings, the pendants will hang too close to eye level or furniture. If your ceiling is below 2.7 m, choose a single pendant like Miira 1 or a flush-mount chandelier.
- Check table or seating width: The chandelier spreads about 1.2–1.5 m when fully arranged. Your table or seating area should be at least 2.5 m wide to avoid a cramped look. For a narrower table (under 2.5 m), consider the Miira 1 or Miira 3 pendant cluster.
- Plan pendant adjustment: Adjust each pendant individually so the lowest point is at least 75 cm above the table surface. This prevents glare and keeps the silhouette open. Use the adjustable cords to fine-tune the height after installation.
Product facts
- Miira 13 Lysekrone, PRO, rock grey / opal: Miira 13 has 13 individual pendants attached to a round ceiling plate, each adjustable in height for different formations. You can tailor the pendant lengths to match your ceiling height and table shape, but the overall spread still needs enough horizontal space.
